Sichuan GWAS generator set operation precautions

Author:Gwas Power Click:1207 Published:2024-04-25

Sichuan GWAS generator set operation precautions:

1. When the engine temperature is very low, it should be appropriate to lengthen the idle operation time,

but when the temperature of the generator set is normal, it is forbidden to idle the common time of the generator set,

the generator set is no-load or the electricity load is very small (the normal load can not be less than 30% of the power of the generator set,

can not be greater than 80% of the power of the generator set). It can not cause serious carbon accumulation and oil leakage in the diesel

turbocharger and exhaust system of the generator set, which increases the early wear of the diesel engine.

2. The generator set can not be overloaded for a long time, otherwise it will cause the failure of the diesel generator set and reduce the service life

of the generator set.

3. It is strictly prohibited to remove or replace parts of diesel generator units during operation.

4. The coolant is generally injected with clear river water; in winter, it is necessary to inject the same type of anti-freeze to prevent diesel engine

freezing. When opening the water tank lid, pay attention to whether there is a high temperature.

5. Prevent burns when using high temperature lubricants.

6. Use national standard 0 clean diesel, otherwise it will cause diesel injector failure.

7. If the diesel generator is not used for a long time, it is recommended that the generator run at least once a month to the working water

temperature (in the shutdown). The unit should run with load for at least 4 hours a year, which can burn the carbon deposit in the diesel engine

 and exhaust system.

8. Whether there is debris on and around the diesel generator set to hinder operation.

9. The room where the generator set is placed should have smooth inlet and exhaust air ducts.

10. Check whether the water tank cold level is normal.

11. Whether the air filter is indicated as normal.

12. Whether the lubricating oil level is within the normal range.

13. Whether the fuel valve is opened and the fuel is transported.

14. Whether the battery connector is correctly connected.

15. Whether the diesel generator unit load connection cable is connected properly (the air switch must be disconnected before the generation unit

 is running)
