Why does diesel engine consume oil too fast suddenly?

In normal circumstances, the oil consumption of a diesel engine is about 2% of the fuel consumption. If the oil consumption increases, 

the cause should be checked. 

If the curved axle box is poorly ventilated, it will increase the oil pressure in the curve axle, resulting in oil leakage from the oil seal and the 

sealing surface of the oil base shell, so that oil consumption increases. Burning oil is the main reason for the increase in diesel engine oil consumption. 

This is due to the piston ring, especially the oil ring, wearing too much or even the piston ring opposite, or the poor elasticity of the ring, 

a broken ring, and the carbon stuck in the ring groove caused by the piston ring scraping effect being greatly reduced, 

so that the oil on the cylinder wall reaches to the top of the piston combustion chamber, causing the oil to burn.

When the diesel engine is in a high-load, high-temperature state, 

it causes early wear of the piston and cylinder liner and even pulls the cylinder, causing the combustion of engine oil. When the diesel engine 

burns the engine oil, the exhaust pipes will blow blue smoke, and the fuel consumption in the oil bottom shell increases.
