First, machine room design.

2. It should not be located in places such as toilets and bathrooms that are easy to collect water, and the location of the installation and placement 

of the diesel generator set should pay attention to the loss of electricity and also be easy to manage.

3. With regard to the layout of the machine room, it should be noted that the diesel generator room should have two entrances, and the 

corresponding fire protection and soundproofing measures must be complete.

4. Special attention should be paid to the ventilation of the diesel generator room, and a special oil storage room must be set up in the room to 

ensure the normal operation of the diesel generator.

Second, equipment layout of machine room.

1. The equipment layout of the equipment room should meet the operation process requirements of the generator set, be economical and 

reasonable, and ensure safety. Under normal circumstances, the unit should be arranged horizontally, and it can also be arranged vertically when it is 

limited by the building site.

2. The distance between the generator units, between the units' outline and the walls, must meet the requirements of the relevant security facilities.

3. Auxiliary devices should be placed on the side of the diesel engine and near the side wall of the equipment room.

4. When the machine room is adjacent to the power distribution room, be sure to pay attention to the generator outlet end, which is close to the 

power distribution room.

5. The noise reduction and sound insulation measures of the machine room must be complete, and the noise after treatment must comply with 

national laws and regulations.

6. For all auxiliary equipment, such as exhaust fans, heaters, etc., to be done with the power distribution panel.
