Matters related to normal shutdown of diesel generator set

1) Gradually remove the load, disconnect the load switch, and change the phase switch to the manual position.

2) The speed of rotation is reduced to 600 ~ 800 rpm under the air load; the aircraft operates for a few minutes and pushes the oil pump 

handle to stop the oil supply; it waits for the stop handles to reposition. 

3) When the ambient temperature is less than 5 °C, the cooling water of the pump and diesel engine should be completely exhausted. 

4) The speed control handles are put in the lowest position of the rotation speed, and the voltage switch is placed in the hand position.

5) A short-term shutdown can be independent of the fuel switch to prevent air from entering the fuel engine; a long-term stop should close the gas switch after the stop. 

6) The long-term stop must exhaust engine oil.
