Maintenance of generator

1. The equipment shall be kept clean; there shall be no oil leakage, water leakage, gas leakage, or electricity leakage. 

The components of the genset should be perfectly intact, the wires should be solid, the instruments complete, the instructions accurate, and there should be no screw loosening.

2. Fuel and engine oil of appropriate classification should be selected in accordance with the climate and seasonal conditions in each region.

3. Maintain the cleanliness of the machine oil, fuel, and its containers, and regularly clean and replace the engine oil, gasoline, coolant, and air filter as required by the instructions. 

The external operating parts of the oil machine should be regularly supplemented with lubricant oil.

4. The start battery should be in a stable-voltage floating state for a long time; check the floating charge voltage monthly; single-part battery floating voltage of 12.18V, 12.24V, or as required by the instructions; and electrolyte liquid level.

5. Long idle running should be avoided, and the height difference between the fuel level and the oil pump should not be too large.

6. City power should be able to normally start and supply power within 15 minutes after the power outage. 

7. The newly installed or majorly repaired unit shall be tested first, and put into use after the performance index test is qualified.
